AquaSummit is a two day live event providing education for aqua professionals to learn and collaborate with skilled and dedicated local and international presenters. What is the Industry Forum?

This interactive forum will address challenges and offer solutions for Group Fitness Coordinators, Managers, Pool Owners and Sole Traders on topics including the inaugural 'Aqua Think Tank' interactive session.

Registration for this event is separate to the AquaSummit Conference.

The Industry Forum 2024 will be recorded and available for paid attendees (live and virtual) to access in their library post event. The recorded sessions will not be available for sale after 19th October 2024.

How do I pay for my registration?

The easiest and quickest way to secure your place at both events is via credit card payment.

How secure are my credit card details?

Our website does not store credit card information. Instead we use a third party payment service called Stripe, to process credit card payments. You can access Stripe’s privacy policy via this link -https://stripe.com/au/privacy

If I don’t have or cannot pay by credit card, is there an alternative payment method?

Yes, an alternative payment method is available. Aqua Alliance will provide an invoice which includes bank details for direct deposit. Please note your registration for this event is not confirmed until payment has been received. In order to arrange an invoice please email us directly - [email protected]

My employer would like to make a group booking. What are the registration and payment options?

We welcome group bookings. Please email us directly [email protected] and we will arrange an invoice to be sent to you. A group booking is 5 or more people from the same employer. The price of a group booking are: Industry Forum $175 and AquaSummit $465

Please note your registration for this event is not confirmed until payment has been received.

Do you offer group, student or pension discounts?

There are a range of different price options depending on when you choose to sign up. Each pricing option will have an expiry date which you will see on the site. There is also a limit of a 100 people per event and this may affect what will be available regarding registrations. See below for the pricing options. Group discounts are available if 5 or more people sign up from the same club or facility. To enquire further about this option, please email [email protected]

Can I review my registration information? How will I know when my registration is confirmed?

Upon payment you will receive confirmation of your registration via email. Please check your junk mail if it does not arrive within 2 hours of submitting payment. The email will provide detailed information about your registration. You will also receive an additional email regarding log in details and how to set up your password. This will allow you to be able to access your library where the notes will be provided closer to the date of the event.

If I book my registration online, how do I collect my ticket?

Once you've registered, you'll receive a confirmation email that secures your spot at the event. This process is fully automated to ensure a smooth check-in upon your arrival. Our event crew will be ready to greet you and will have your registration details on hand. Just make sure to have a photo ID with you for verification purposes.

Can I register and buy a ticket on the day of the AquaSummit or Industry Forum?

Registration for these events are available online only. We expect tickets to sell out early so purchase early to avoid missing out.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind about attending?

Refunds for cancellations will vary according to notification and circumstances. If notification is received:
at least 28 days prior to the event, we will refund your registration payment minus administration costs.
between 14 - 28 days, we will refund you 75% of your registration fee.
If you cancel within 14 days of the AquaSummit due to circumstances involving illness, death, or Act of God events, you must email [email protected] to request a refund. You must provide supporting evidence of the reason for cancelling which may include a medical certificate or statutory declaration of personal circumstances.

If AquaSummit and Industry Forum are cancelled, how do I obtain a refund?

If either or both events are cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated, Aqua Alliance staff will be in contact to arrange a refund. To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), we will not reimburse you for auxiliary expenses (such as the cost of travel, car parking, child-care, and accommodation) or other consequential loss suffered by you in connection with your attendance or non-attendance at an event. We recommend that you obtain travel insurance for those expenses.

Venue

What parking arrangements are available at the venue?

Delegates are encouraged to use public transport as parking at the venue and in the local area is limited. All parking bays have a 2 hour metered parking restriction - 8am-10pm.

At the venue you will find:

4 accessible parking bays approx 18m from the entrance
40 ticket parking spaces with 2 hour limit on Zetland Avenue linked to the 6 parking meters
one space allocated as a loading zone

In the local area you will find:

restrictions of 1 or 2 hour metered or time parking in surrounding streets

Note: Drivers with mobility parking permits are legally able to park within any of the 2-hour ticket parking zones without charge and without a time limit.

There is a dedicated ‘Parking, Swim and Gym’ subsidised parking scheme for the 2 hour metered parking. You may only claim a discount if you’re using pools, gymnasium or fitness studios.

Taxis and drop offs - There are four car park spaces allocated as ‘No Parking’ at the entrance in Zetland Avenue. These are pick-up and drop off areas only.

Is there a cafe available and can it cater to special dietary requirements?

The onsite cafe sells a range of quality food and beverages with indoor and outdoor tables and seating. The cafe offers a varied menu items which can be viewed online - https://gunyama-park-cafe.square.site - as well as other fresh food items available on a day to day basis.

Where are the sessions located within the venue?

Industry Forum on Friday 18th October 2024 will be held in Fitness Studio One on the upper level.
AquaSummit Lectures on 19/20 October 2024 will also be held in Fitness Studio One on the upper level.
AquaSummit Pool Sessions on 19/20 October 2024 will be held in the 25 metre indoor Program Pool.
Event crew will be available to assist with directions.

Will Wifi be available at AquaSummit?

Yes, Gunyama Park Aquatic Centre does provide free Wifi. We will provide you with all details to get you connected on the day.

Can I store my luggage at the venue?

Yes, large luggage items can be stored securely at the venue. See event crew to assist you with further details on the day.

Travel

Transport options to the venue?

Due to parking restrictions we advise delegates to use public transport.

There are several options to get to the venue.

Air Travel - for those flying in from regional and interstate locations the nearest airport is Sydney Domestic Airport - https://www.sydneyairport.com.au/airport-guide/arriving/domestic

For international delegates the airport is Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport - https://www.sydneyairport.com.au/airport-guide/arriving/international

Train - the nearest train station to the venue is Green Square Station. It is approximately a 5 minute walk to/from the venue.

Arriving by plane? Both the Domestic and International terminals have onsite Train Stations.

- Sydney International Airport Station to Green Square Station is three stops away and 7 minutes in duration

Bus - several options to Green Square

Route 343 from Central Station, stops at Elizabeth Street (2 minute walk).

Route 320 from Central Station to Joynton Avenue (1 minute walk).

Route 309 from Central Station to Green Square Station (10 minute walk).

Bike - racks are provided adjacent to both main entrances.
